The AngioNet 2020 National Conference dedicated to the AngioNet project was held at the Athénée Palace Hilton, on February 27-29, 2020, just a few days before the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic followed by the lockdown in Romania. The event also marked the pre-launch of the AngioNet Cluster. Under the motto “From basic research to clinical research. Team decisions for patient comfort and safety”, the event focused both on presenting the AngioNet Project and its partial results at that moment, as well as on promoting innovative solutions and opportunities to develop new projects initiated by AngioNet Cluster members

During the event, plenary sessions and workshops on specialties were organized, over 40 scientific papers were given by experts from both Romania and abroad, and the audience in the 3 days of the event amounted to over 250 participants.

Not many people reaching his age are still boasting with energy and being driven by the ambition to implement projects that will help increase the performance of the Romanian health system and align with internationally competitive medical services, for the benefit of patients.

It was an evening of socializing and sharing beautiful ideas and memories that helped strengthen the team spirit and relationships between members of the AngioNet Cluster.

The last evening of the congress was marked by a concert of the Orchestra of Physicians, held at the Romanian Athenaeum, in the presence of all the guests at the congress.
